Congratulations to Sheffield Mind’s Community Connections manager, Aimee Stancer (see image: top left), who has been chosen to join the “Top 30 under 30” South Yorkshire programme. Delivered by leading business coaches, Top 30 Under 30 will help young talent transition into effective managers and inspiring leaders, through a Leadership Excellence Acceleration Programme (LEAP). The programme is high-impact and challenging, with vibrant sessions generating real outcomes. Thirty young people from organisations across South Yorkshire have been chosen to take part in this year-long experience, culminating in a prestigious awards ceremony at the end. The first of its kind in the region, the scheme aims to recognise and support rising stars within organisations across South Yorkshire, inspiring the next generation of leaders.

Aimee has 7 years’ worth of experience either volunteering or working in the field of mental health and says she’s most looking forward to being part of a network of people in similar positions and building her confidence. Aimee thanked both Sheffield Mind for being such a supportive organisation and Edyta, the Director of Services, for being a great role model and providing support and encouragement.
